Image A shows the normal and narrower field of view where as image B shows the enhanced area of vision which is more easily adapted to. Wearers used to normal vari-focals find the new design a revelation.
We also supply bi-focals and recommend the D.Seg Lens.
For high index prescription short sighted we recommend High Index Lenses which are cosmetically more appealing. The below diagram simply demonstrates the difference between normal thicker lenses and thinner high Index Lenses.
